Shankar Mahadevan and Himmesh Reshammiya will be seen battling it out tonight on Amul Music Ka Maha Muqabla on Star Plus. The captains of this show are leaving no stone unturned to woo the audience and non-performing captains to bag votes. While some are regaling the audience with their energetic performance, others are trying to impress them with their melodious tunes. Some of them have tried to strike an emotional connect by performing some emotional songs.

Shankar’s rendition of his composition Maa from TZP moved the audience and non-performing captains to tears. Along with a standing ovation, the other captains surrendered to the power of his performance and said that it was beyond their calibre to rate the legendary Shankar.
