Rahul Vaidya - Music Ka Maha Muqabla
The son of an engineer, Rahul Vaidya grew up in Mumbai, where he studied music under Suresh Wadekar and entered various children talent competitions including Aao Jhoomein Gaayein. While he was a Second Year Junior College student in Mithibai College, he participated in Indian Idol (season 1) where he finished third though he was hotly tipped to win the competition.
Eight months later, he released his debut album Tera Intezar. He also sang a duet, Hello Madam, I am your Adam, with fellow Indian Idol runner-up Prajakta Shukre, and God Promise Dil Dola with Shreya Ghoshal for the film Shaadi No. 1.
He did playback for couple of other films such as Jigyaasa, Hot Money and Krazzy 4. He has done live shows and concerts across the globe and is a superb performer. Recently, Rahul has won the title of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar on Star Plus.
