Amitabh Bachchan becomes marketing mastermind
I will rather watch him as Amitabh Bachchan rather watching him as ET. It is too painful for me physically and mentally. And he still surprises us.
What drives him? He has crores in his kitty, a supportive family and an envious lifestyle. Age is catching up with him and his body revolts most of the time. His face has more folds and but his gait is steady. His voice is the same but there is a hint of fatigue. He has hynotic presence which even his detractors accept.
His dependence on political bigwigs for support is well known. He lends them his glamour and they lend him their patronage. He is with all types of political parties. This shows that he has no fixed ideology and he is different from his father. His father was a great man of thoughts and words and I think that he would have been happy without any fame and little money. He would have been happy with a notebook and a pen sitting in a cramped room with some old furniture. What he would have wanted could have been some freedom of expression through his writings. But his son chose a different field where competition matters and a world which is filled with go getters. And the fame he got and is getting is like nasha. Once the fame leaves, it will leave a such void which all his crores will not be able to seal.
He wants to be like his father atleast in his thoughts. But he will not give up his chase for limelight so easily come what may. So we can see more of Bachchan, the megastar in the coming days.He is still the big moon adorning the night sky with lots of twinkling stars surrounding him. But some stars are threatening to become bigger during the moonless nights.

Do you really know how a progerian child looks? If no, please google some images to know that Amitabh Bachchan has done an excellent make-up of looking like them. If yes, are you comparing the children having progeria with ET? Its so INHUMAN.
ET is so lovable though not human. Why humans have this arrogance that only they are superior? Everytime I saw Auro I felt the pain Bachchan underwent for hours at his age.

ya progerian children are barely four feet tall. They have high aging rate but growth rate normal. Almost all die in their 12s -13s with only few exceptions of being into their late teens.
If the movie got so popularity, the credit goes to Amitabh Bachchan to utilise his superstar status wisely. If instead of him, someone else played the role of Auro, it'd never make news.
Mostly people watched the movie coz they wanna see Bachchan in a new avatar.
i absolutely agree if u take amitabh bachan name out of paa ppl wont even speak of it do ppl remember even a film name alag which was also about some kina child disease but amitabh bachan is a mega superstar and no1 evn khanz know that n dont even think about competitng with him as all came for premier of paa but y r then bachans woried i dont understnad the whole bolywood came 4 premiere of 3 idiots only bachan were missing i dont understand wats the fear they have and y not now cut off some work n do less films like y even he needed to do a film like aladin

bachchan is insecure about Aamir. Khan is a better man than bigb.
Very few people would have watched Taare Zameen Par without Aamir in it, or Paa without AB in it, so I really don't care how they're promoting their movies as long as they're putting in their bit to make such films, commercially viable.
I would never have heard of the late Harivanshrai Bachchan if his poetry hadn't been recited by his son...the voice....ahhh!......

Hassan ji, TZP was abt children with special needs, but it became a hit bcoz a lot of Aamir fans, the kind who liked Fanaa and Raja Hindustani also saw the movie.
I did'nt know abt AB not attending 3 Idiots premiere as I don't keep up with so much details abt the going-ons in tinsel town.

my simple question is that amitabh bachchan the name speaks volume for itself i dont think any of the bollywood actor even the khanz take him as competition they all respect him so why doe he sounds sometym insecure shahrukh n aamir r 2 ppl who he takes as competitors while both came to suport PAA but v dint c him in 3 idiots premier nor will we see him in MY NAME IS KHAN premiere n secondly why doing roles like aladin at this point of career ? these r my only queries
