Dipika Samson, popularly known as Simar of Colors' Sasural Simar Ka, is married to Raunak Mehta for the past three years. She tied the knot sometime in December, 2008. He has been spotted on the set and introduced to co-stars but Dipika has been asked to not reveal her marriage to anyone. Channel fears that it might hamper the show.

Dipika Samson, who plays a prospective bride in Sasural Simar Ka, has apparently been asked by the channel to remain tight-lipped about her three year old marriage. The channel in question feels that her marital status might hamper her on-screen image of a prospective bahu. In the show, she is playing a girl whose parents are hunting for a suitor for her. And according to sources, the channel feels that the time is not right to reveal her marital status. They are trying their best to keep this piece of information under wraps and even if it comes out, so should happen when she ties the knot on the show.
