Sangeeta Ghosh, aka Pammi of Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand fame, is hiding her marriage to a businessman from media as well as from industry people. It was an arranged marriage. Sangeeta was looking to settle down for a long time. She tried to switch from Television to films, but that didn't materialise. Her movie "Bhanvra..." never released and Sangeeta's acting career came to a standstill. She also tried to make a comeback to Television with the dance reality show "Zara Nachke Dikha", but getting a lead role at an age of 35 isn't possible anymore on Television shows. So she decided to settle down and get married to a richy one.

The secrecy over the marriage has baffled everyone and they found it really strange that she's hiding it from the world. Her wedding was a private affair and a few people from the industry were present. Her mentor, Aroona Irani, was one of them. Her in-laws are extremely private people and didn't want any media attention. In fact, her husband, too, isn't so keen on Sangeeta continuing work after marriage.

Sangeeta started acting when she was just 10 years old, in a serial called Hum Hindustani. She has done a lot of modeling for famous brands like Donear Suitings and Nirma. She finished her college studies in 1996 and acted in serials like Kurukshetra, Adhikaar, Ajeeb Dastan and Daraar. After Daraar, she was launched for Mehendi Tere Naam Ki after which came her biggest role as Pammi in Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand.
