Shruti Kanwar as Ovi in Pavitra Rishta

Shruti Kanwar, a new face, is finalized by Ekta Kapoor to play the character one of Archana's (Ankita Lokhande) daughter in Zee TV's popular show Pavitra Rishta. Pooja Bannerjee of the MTV Roadies fame was initially offered the same role but was replaced at the end moment by Shruti.

A graduate of Balaji's acting school, this is Shruti's first TV show. She will play Manav and Archana's daughter Ovi, who lives with her father, sister Tejaswini and grandmother Savita Tai in Canada. Ovi is in love with Arjun.
